I took the "Which Les Mis Character Are You" quiz (or actually, a bunch of them) and I'm Eponine. No surprise there. The character I'm the least like is Cosette. Again, no surprise.
Did you know that there's a debate about whether the correct abbreviation is Les Mis or Les Miz? I'm Les Mis all the way. It's much more classy. Did you know that the official website is lesmis.com? You better believe it. :)
Anywho, I couldn't resist creating these fashion doll versions of Cosette and Eponine:
Just in case you are shamefully unfamiliar with Les Mis and its amazingness, Cosette is on the left, and Eponine is on the right. Cosette is the daughter of factory worker Fantine, and she is adopted by Jean Valjean. She falls in love with Marius, and he falls in love with her too. So it's all good for her. Then there's Eponine, who's also in love with Marius. She's the daughter of the corrupt Thenardiers. She dresses up as a boy and goes to battle with him. Team Eponine! Woot. Anyway, a bit about the dolls: I got the costume inspirations from the 2012 movie. Cosette's dress is actually mainly my own creation, because I took a look at some of her different dresses and none of them seemed too fun to recreate. So I made my ideal Cosette costume. There's a few details that I need to point out: the headpiece and the necklace show her place in society, and she is holding a rose (maybe from Marius?) Lol. Eponine's dress is very similar to the one in the movie, and I attempted to make it as ragged as possible (which is hard to do on the Game of Thrones Maker). I added the white belt for extra raggedness. The boots are more like the ones she wears at the barricade, but any of the other shoes seemed too fancy. Notice her somber expression. By the way, that thing in her hand is the letter Cosette wrote for Marius. I don't know why it's brown. It just happened that way. Both dolls were made on Doll Divine. So that's that. Enjoy! Oh, and did I mention I'm reading the book? Yup, I'm currently on page 326 out of 1463. Yeah. It's a challenge. So that's life. Or, rather, the parts of my life that connect with Les Mis. Cya! |
